If low mileage is more important, go for the 2017. I would get the 2014 Mazda 3 S grand touring especially if it has the radar cruise package. Otherwise, the 2017 will be an awesome car as well. The only major issue with the 2014 and many of the years has been the rear brakes sticking a bit and the touch screen issues.
