I have travelled many times on routes such as Tallinn-Stockholm, Tallinn-Helsinki and Turku-Stockholm and used both Tallink (Siljaline) and Viking Line ships, but my clear winner is Viking Line, as all-in-all the service, attitude, quality and even the prices are better than Tallink's.
Address. Göta Canal, Sweden. One of the best day trips from Stockholm if you want to relax a little and enjoy a little boat tour. Many visitors believe that the Gota Canal leads directly from Stockholm to Gothenburg. This is not true - the Göta Canal ends at the town of Mem, almost 150 mi (240 km) south of Stockholm.

Take the bus from Riga Central Bus Station to Kaliningrad Bus station 231. Take the bus from Kaliningrad Bus station to Frankfurt Airport 905. €78 - €229. Tip: The direct Helsinki-Stockholm ferry is the nicest option, but the alternative train+ferry service from Helsinki to Stockholm via Turku is cheaper and gets to Stockholm earlier for more of a day there - with a similar departure time from Helsinki. See details here.
Domestically, most rail lines end in Helsinki, so it’s easy to travel there from all over Finland. Domestic destinations from Helsinki include Turku, Tampere, Vaasa, and Oulu. Of this list, Oulu is the farthest destination but only a mere six hours away by direct train. Before you travel to Helsinki by train - good to know!
