push tripreset button 3 times. The display then goes into a new mode showing battery voltage. Use the up/down buttons on the wheel to find the menu with OIL at the bottom. Tutn key to position2 wait a few moments and the actual oil level will be displayed in litres.

All Mercedes Benz Vehicles require Fully Synthetic motor oil, and Mobil 1 is factory fill, and the recommended oil. Not sure about the W203, though 75W-85 is a recommendation on the Fuchs site (all I use on my 190E) so you're not far out with the spec. The capacity on my W201 is actually 1.1 litres, which is frustrating really as it's supplied in litre containers so I ended up with more than necessary but at least it got a good flush.
